Today, February 4, at 3:00 pm, Vanessa Yamileth Zepeda, a labor union 
leader with SITRAIHSS, the Workers Union for the Honduran Social 
Security Institute, was abducted when exiting a workers union meeting at 
the Stybis building on the Fuerzas Armadas Boulevard in Tegucigalpa, 
Honduras.

Her body was found, or rather, dropped off at 4:30 pm in the Loarque 
neighborhood, well known for the resistance movement against the coup. 
She had died from a gunshot wound. It is thought that this was done as a 
clear warning to the resistance.

Hoy día, 4 de febreo, a las 3:00 pm, Vanessa Yamileth Zepeda, una líder 
sindicalista con SITRAIHSS, oSindicato de Trabajadores del Instituto 
Hondureño de Seguridad Social, fue secuestrada mientras salía de una 
reunión del edificio de Stybis en el Boulevard de las Fuerzas Armadas en 
Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Su cuerpo fue hallado, o más bien, tirado a las 4:30 pm en las calles 
del barrio Loarque, conocido como uno de los centros de la resistencia 
contra el golpe. Murió de un balazo. Se piensa que fue hecho como una 
clara advertencia al movimiento de resistencia.
