La responsabilidad de la Escuela de las Américas en el golpe hondureño

This is an interview (in spanish)by Sofia Jarrin of Lisa Sullivan, Latin America Coordinator of the School of the Americas Watch (www.soaw.org) in Venezuela. She talks about how many of the people who participated in the coup in Honduras were trained in the School of the Americas, now known as the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation or WHINSEC. Over its 59 years, the WHINSEC has trained over 60,000 Latin American soldiers in counterinsurgency strategies. Many of them have gone to become well-known dictators and death squad leaders. This interview was originally aired on ALER (www.aler.org) on July 28, 2009.
